What Charger is best suited for this Battery ? 10440 (or 14500) Li-ion rechargeable battery Can any rechargeable battery unt that suits AA batteries work with this battery ?

There are a lot different types of batteries that share the same size as a AA or a AAA battery. It is important that you use the correct charger to charge a particular battery.

Here are some examples of commonly found AA and AAA batteries:

• Non-rechargeable 1.5V AAA Alkaline battery
• Non-rechargeable 1.8V AAA Lithium primary battery (e.g Energizer L92)
• Rechargeable 1.2V AAA Ni-MH battery
• Rechargeable 3.7V 10440 Li-ion battery

• Non-rechargeable 1.5V AA Alkaline battery
• Non-rechargeable 1.8V AA Lithium primary battery (e.g. Energizer L91)
• Rechargeable 1.2V AA Ni-MH battery (e.g. eneloop pro AA 2450mAh)
• Rechargeable 3.7V 14500 Li-ion battery

When selecting a charger for small AA and AAA batteries, you should check whether or not the charger supports the battery chemistry type of your battery (e.g. Ni-MH, Li-ion, Ni-CD, LiFePo4) and the battery size (e.g. AA, AAA, 10440, 14500). 

1.5V Alkaline and 1.8V Lithium primary batteries should not be charged.
